Being a MIAD graduate, Morgan Tillisch is indeed a silly goose. She has “hand” rendered multiple chapters of comic books for her two series, Goosetrude and Cornix. Her main form of illustrating is traditional. She is most notably known for using graphite, ink, pens, watercolor and colored pencils to give a storybook feel to her comics and illustrations.

Her stories and characters are inspired by birds and the natural world, as well as an influence of anime and manga since she was a silly gosling. Many of her stories involve bird-like characters, living in a modern world. Many of these stories relate to ‘coming of age’ themes, as well as being true to oneself. Her audience is for young teens and up.
